Pair of semi-detached houses. c.1845. Developed by C.H.Hill.
Yellow brick, stucco and roof of slate. Two storeys, each
house two bays wide. Paired central porches, each with engaged
Ionic columns, carrying simple entablatures; panelled doors
and overlights. All windows flat-arched with architraves,
those to ground floor having cornices on consoles; original
sashes except to ground floor of no 18. Chamfered quoins.
Simple cornice and boxed eaves. Party wall expressed above
roof and carrying central stack, side stacks also. Hipped roof
and dormers to both houses.
