Town house. c1809. Granite ashlar with stuccoed parapet and
natural slate roof with brick end stacks. Double-depth plan
with central entrance hall between 2 front reception rooms. 2
storeys over basement; symmetrical 3-window front. Central
round-headed doorway with wide recessed fluted architrave,
panelled door and fanlight; possibly original hornless sashes
with glazing bars under shallow segmental arches with
projecting key blocks; first-floor sill string and moulded
parapet cornice. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES:
wrought-iron railings flank entrance bridge, return beside
steps down to left and over forecourt walls.
