GV II

House. Mid C18, remodelled mid C19. Red brick, some limestone ashlar. C19
slate roof with overhanging eaves and gable stacks. 2 storey, 5 bay north
front with plinth and first floor band. Central C19 doorway with flanking
fluted half columns, entablature with triglyphs and guttae, overlight and
fielded panelled door. Doorway flanked by 2 glazing bar sashes on each side
with 5 glazing bar sashes above, all with C19 rusticated ashlar wedge lintels
with raised keystones. Low projecting C19 range to right of no interest.
5 bay south front with C19 portico of 4 fluted doric columns, doorway flanked
by single narrow lights and with panelled door. Portico flanked by 2 glazing
bar sashes on each side with 5 more above, all with C19 rusticated ashlar wedge
lintels with raised keystones.
