Pigsties. Late C19. Stone rubble with brick quoins; weather-boarded front; pantile
roof.
Shed containing 3 pigsties facing north-west onto the farmyard. Low block with
weather-boarded front containing 3 original plank doors with plain strap hinges and
catches. The upper section of the front wall is a ventilator grille made up of
horizontal timbers. The roof is lean-to resting against the boundary wall, its
trusses based on king post truss forms.
These pigsties form part of a group of well-preserved farmbuildings which enclose
the farmyard behind Stantaway Farmhouse which also contribute to the charming group
of listed buildings along Otterton Fore Street.
