GV II

Terrace of 4 houses standing above road level. Early C19.
Stucco with slate roofs. 3 storeys 2 windows (1 blind) each.
Round-arched entrances with panelled part-glazed doors and
fanlights, No.5 with radial bars; No.3 with completely
panelled door and good radial web patterned fanlight. Nos 3 &
4 entrances paired under an eliptical arch with doors flanking
a central fluted pilaster supporting a ribbed spandrel above
fanlights. Each house with a canted 3-light oriel window at
1st floor level and a blind window above the entrance.
Recessed sashes of various dates but Nos 3 & 5 retain original
16-pane hornless sashes at ground floor. INTERIORS not
inspected. All the listed buildings in Fore Street form a
group.
