House. Dated 1823. Render with brick stacks, roof not visible.
Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 2 storeys and
basement; 3-window range. A symmetrical front has a
semicircular-arched doorway with key and impost blocks, plain
5-light fanlight and reeded transom. 8/8-pane sashes, and over
the door a semicircular-arched stair window with a small
wrought-iron balcony, below a panelled plaque inscribed YORK
HOUSE 1823. INTERIOR not inspected, but reported as having a
central hall and curved dogleg stair. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES:
spear-headed front area railings.
