Terrace of 4 houses, now shops and offices. Early C19. Brick
with limestone dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan.
Each of 3 storeys; 1-window range. A shallow concave terrace
with coped parapet. Mid C19 shop fronts with right-hand
doorways and continuous cornice: plate glass with thin
mullions, stall risers and basement lights, No.45 with double
doors and pilaster strips. Upper windows have 5 stepped
voussoirs to horned sashes, the second floor of No.43 with
8/8-pane sashes, plate glass the rest. Similar elevation to St
Stephen's Street. INTERIOR: ground floors of Nos 39 & 41
interconnected.
