GV II

Pair of attached houses. Late C18. Limestone ashlar, rendered
gable stacks and a pantile roof, hipped to the left and a
mansard to the right. Double-depth plan.
3 storeys; 5-window range. The right-hand 3-window house is
angled and stepped forward; each has a left-hand doorway, plat
band, a first-floor sill band, frieze and cornice to a
parapet. No.80 has a rusticated ground floor and CAMDEN HOUSE
inscribed in the plat band; a doorway with pilasters,
triglyphs and a pediment, plate-glass fanlight and 6-panel
door. No.82A has fluted brackets to a pediment, plate-glass
fanlight and mid C19 two-panel door, and a canted bay with
plate-glass sashes. 5 stepped voussoirs to 6/6-pane sashes,
and C19 casements to the mansard. INTERIOR not inspected.
