Attached house, now shop and house. Late C17, refronted early
C19. Timber frame, brick front with limestone dressings,
lateral brick stacks and pantile roof. Single front and back
rooms with front left-hand stair. 3 storeys and attic;
2-window range. An early C19 semicircular-arched doorway with
imposts and key on the left has a 4-panel door, the top pair
raised, C20 shop front with a central doorway, and pilaster
strips above to a parapet. Brick flat arches to a narrow stair
light with glazing bars over the side door, and 6/6-pane
sashes, with 2 dormers with C20 casements. INTERIOR: ground
floor with a rear doorway with exposed arched timber lintel,
left-hand fireplace, and a newel-framed unpainted oak winder
stair. Cistern beneath the flagged ground floor.
