Pair of houses. c1840-50. Rock-faced squared stone with Welsh
slate roof. 2 storeys and attic, symmetrically planned with
storeyed entrance halls to side elevations and 2 rooms across
main elevation. Moulded arched doorways, the porches now
missing. Front: symmetrical 4-window range, 12-pane sash
windows on each floor of plain side bays, then advanced gabled
inner bay with canted bay window with wood mullions and
transoms to ground floor, 12-pane sash window above and 6-pane
sash in gable apex (renewed in left hand house). Side and
1st-floor windows under hood moulds. Wavy barge-boards to
front and side gables. Corbel table to cornice over outer
bays. End wall, and axial stacks, truncated on gables.
