Arch between Nos.11 and 12 (not
included)

GV II

Former entrance gateway to public house now used by the
Salvation Army. Early C19. Stucco on masonry. Gateway has
square piers with plinths and impost blocks supporting a
shallow segmental arch. Above the arch is a bold moulded
cornice surmounted by a parapet with a 3-sided centre-piece
(resembling a pediment) broken forward. Cornice returns to the
left.
