Small house, with shop, at end of row. C18 with early C19
front. Flemish bond brickwork, rendering, tile roof, brick
stack. A small property, probably built with No.53 (qv), and
oversailing it in ownership (1991).
Good brick front with parapet, in 2 storeys and attic,
1-windowed. 2-light raking dormer above 16-pane sash to brick
voussoirs with central fluted key with cornice. At the ground
floor a fine early C19 shop front with 16-pane bows flanking
central pair of glazed doors under a 4-pane transom-light in
fluted piers with rosette heads, under a small canopy. Stack,
left, shared with No.53. Right return is rendered, with an
entrance door and 2 small C20 lights; the wall is extended to
a lean-to. INTERIOR not inspected.
