Pair of attached houses. Clements. Dated 1825 with later additions and
alterations. Roughly coursed limestone rubble; slate roof with concrete tiles to
rear. 2 storeys and attic. C19 three-light segmental-headed metal casements on
each floor to left and right of C20 gabled timber porch with boarded outer door
and inner half-glazed door. 2 gabled dormers directly above casements in bottom
of roof slope. Datestone "1825" to centre on first floor. Integral end stacks
with red brick shafts, top of left rebuilt C20 and right shared with Jasmine
House: straight joint below. C20 two-storey addition to rear on left is not of
special architectural interest. Jasmine House. Probably C18 with eaves raised
mid-C19; later additions and alterations. Roughly coursed marlstone rubble to
original part; roughly coursed limestone to raising of eaves; slate roof. 2
storeys and attic, attic of original house gable lit. 2-window front;
segmental-headed glazing bar sashes, 16-paned to ground floor, with gabled
half-dormers directly above. Integral end stacks with red brick shafts, left
shared with Clements. Outline of original roof pitch visible to right gable end.
Long range at right-angles to rear on left. One storey and attic with three C19
gabled half-dormers. Boarded door to far left has 2 late C20 casements (in C19
style) with wood lintels and half-glazed door to right. Four C19
segmental-headed casements to right, 3 to left and one to right of
segmental-headed boarded door. 2 red brick ridge stacks to right of centre.
