House. Dated WI/1676 on beam in room to right of entrance. Coursed ironstone
rubble with only part of thatch remaining. Timber roof exposed without
covering. Brick stack on stone base at right end. 2-unit plan. Plank door
to left has wooden framed surround and wooden lintel. Blocked 2-light window
on left, stone surrounds with inserted 3-light casement on right has hood mould
with label stops. Two 3-light casements to the attic storey. Stop-chamfered
wooden lintels. Small rectangular window with ironstone surrounds between
ground and attic floors. One 3-light and one 2-light stone mullioned window,
both with hood moulds and label stops in the right gable end. Interior:
Stop-chamfered beam to the main room on the right. Fireplace with bressumer in
end wall. Wooden winder stairs to attic . Plank doors.
