Circa 1862 (for road widening). 3 storey ashlar fronted terrace, with 2 windows
per house having eared and shaped architraves, glazing bar sashes, (single hung
on 2nd floor, plate glass on 1st floor of No 6, lower sashes plate glass on 1st
floor of No 5). 1st floor cill band, moulded cill string to 2nd floor, and moulded
cornice and parapet with balustraded panels above windows and moulded coping.
Unified ground floor design with cornice to common fascia with 4 Doric pilasters.
Now 2 modern shop fronts and central panelled door with rectangular light, having
glazing bars, above. Rear of No 6 formerly printing works for Trowbridge and Wilts
Times: brick with stone and one 2 storey glazing bar sash window.
Nos 5 to 7 (consec) form a group with Nos 9 and 10.
