GV II


Farmhouse, now detached cottage. Mid C17. Limestone and flint
rubble stone, with Flemish bond brick to first floor left, half-
hipped thatched roof with brick stacks. Gable end to road. Two-
storey, 3-window. Planked door in C20 porch to right, two 2-light
casements to left; one in blocked doorway, single-storey range to
right has 2-light casements. First floor has three 2-light
casements. Attached to left return is weatherboarded outhouse with
hipped thatched roof. Rear has planked door, 3-light recessed
chamfered mullioned casement with hoodmould and three 2-light
casements, two eyebrow dormers with 4-light leaded casements and
one C20 casement.
Interior has deeply chamfered beams with stepped stops, planked
doors, blocked open fireplaces.
