House, latterly 2 dwellings. Early C18, extended C19, altered C20. Timber
frame, plastered with some red brick, clay lump addition. Thatched roof with
pantiles on addition. 2 cells, 1 storey and attic with 1 bay 2 storey
addition to left. Offset plinth. 2 entrances towards centre, a 4 fielded
panelled door and a C20 half glazed door, C20 3-light glazing bar casements
with hoodboards, two 2-light eyebrow thatched dormers. Right end all red
brick with an internal stack. Left end external stack in C19 bay set back
slightly, 3 light casements, higher eaves and lower ridge, internal left end
white brick stack. To rear an eyebrow thatched dormer and a C20 addition.
Interior: stop chamfered cross axial binding beams and storey posts, exposed
framing of thin scantling with curved tension braces.
