Formerly Nos 1-6 Church Terrace. Early C19 terrace. 2 storeys. Red brick
with stone pilasters at angles and between houses. Stone plinth. Bold moulded
stone coping. Slate roof with brick ridge chimneys. Sash windows. Each
house has 1 window 4 panes wide, with stepped stone voussoir head and 4 panel
door, flush type, with 2 paned rectangular fanlight in plain stone surround
with flat stone hood on cut brackets. The doors arranged in couples. Nos
23 and 25 have modern casements, modern glazed doors, and addition of shutters
and removal of cast iron railings and gates from front garden. Brick retaining
wall along road, with stone coping ramped twice, supporting railings. Arrowhead
railings to gates to right of No 33 with arched centre brace.
