Walled Garden attached
to north of Wenham

Walled Garden. C16 with later repairs and C19 Summer House. Red brick with some
diapering. Approx 3 metres tall the wall encloses a rectangular garden to north
of the house. The south western side is stepped and has a polygonal buttress at
the angle, probably the remains of a former wing of the house. To western angle
of this buttress is a gabled C19 summer house with roundheaded archway and carved
barge boards. There are gateways to north and west walls. Two bee boles to
north wall.
