A fine C16 timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof. Restored with all the timber-framing exposed with red brick nogging. Cross wings extend at the north-west and south-east ends and there are further wings at the rear. Two storeys. The upper storey is jettied on the north-east front on exposed joists. The centre part is at a higher level than the cross wings. Five window range mainly of three and four-light mullioned and transomed casements with leaded lights (some old lights). The doorway has a four-centred arched head. There are a number of chimney stacks with two, three and four octagonal shafts with rebuilt star caps.
