Early-mid C19 fronts some possibly concealing earlier timber framed construction.
2 storeys, 10 windows in all. Some of brick with dentil cornice, others rendered,
all now painted white. Old tiled roofs hipped at left over No 1. No 11 is
on right return of No 9. Windows varied: a few sash windows with glazing bars,
several modern casements. No 1 has C19 shop on ground floor. Nos 5 and 7
have modern carriageway and obtrusive modern shop front. Included for townscape
value in closing off North end of Green, although much altered.
