1792 pair, Each originally 3 storeys, attic and basement, 2 windows.
Slated mansard roof with 1 square dormer, a sash with glazing bars.
Brownish red brick with parapet. Bright red gauged flat brick arches
to sash windows with glazing bars in stucco lined reveals, except on
ground floor of No 8 where they are in flush, moulded frames.
No 7 has 2 2-storey, 1-window set back right extensions of mid-late
Cl9, the outer very narrow. Garage built forward from these.
6 restored steps to door of 6 fielded panels, with patterned
rectangular fanlight, in wood entablature surround.
No 8 has similar set-back outer extensions, rendered. In
lst extension late C19 door in stucco entablature surround.
Basement below altered to garage.
No 8A is basement flat. Tablet in centre of parapet: "Eliot
Place 1792".

Nos 1 to 8 (consec), The Wedge and Forecourt Walls form a group.
