Former farm building/cottage (adjoining Barton Road), late C17 partly
rebuilt C19. Oak small framing to front; oak frame to rear with no
intermediate cross-rail; brick gable ends; grey slate roof of steep
pitch. An arched boarded loading door of oak in upper storey; a
replaced door in similar opening in lower storey; a gabled half-dormer
at rear; flush brick chimney on right gable.
