SY 39 NE WHITCHURCH CANONICORUM WHITCHURCH VILLAGE

2/188 Gate Piers and Walls
40 metres north east of
Candida House

G.V. II

Two square stone piers, with cornice blocks and ogee-conical caps. Circa
1800. Being entrance gateway to house. Coursed chert walls flanking piers
on both sides with cambered stone coping to left hand. Left hand wall becomes
attached to Village Well House.
