House, now two dwellings. C18, altered slightly C19. Red brick with granite
rubble stone plinth and Swithland slate roof with brick end stacks. Two ranges
that to right L plan and projecting to rear. Main range of three storeys of
3 2/2 sash windows. Two 3/3 sashes to second floor. On ground floor a 2/2
sash either side central wooden doorcase with pilasters and narrow bracketed
hood. 6-panelled door with overlight. Cambered lintels to ground and first
floors. Two brick bands and wooden bracketted eaves. Range to right has Swithland
slate roof, hipped to right, and with two ridge stacks. Two storeys of a 6/6
sash both floors facing Loughborough Road. On right side, from left, a 6/6
sash both floors, and two 2-light horizontal sliding sashes with similar 3-light,
4-panelled door and similar 2-light below. Wooden bracketed eaves in part,
otherwise brick dentilled eaves. Range continues to rear as outbuildings with
double doors, loft doors and windows. A garden wall extends from left end
of main range along Loughborough Road. Granite rubble stone c3m high.
