The Knoll

GV II

Look-Out, and signal station. c.1800. Rubble-stone walls on a
stone plinth. Stone-slab roof. Brick stack at north gable.
Single storey, originally with loft space over. Entrances on
each side, with segmental heads, (except on the north which has
the stack position). small square opening to former loft on the
south side. Upper level rendered. Interior: fireplace on the
north gable wall, wall thickened to accomodate, this.
