Manor House. Late C18, with possible remains of Priory Building
in cellars. Stone walls, stuccoed with a flat parapet. Slate roofs
hipped. Stuccoed stacks at right front eaves, and left side eaves.
2 storeys. 6 windows (north elevation), sashes with glazing-bars
and stone cills. Blind windows at right hand ground. Front door,
at centre with 6 ribbed-and-fielded panels. C18. Semi-circular
fanlight with 4 glass panels down each side. Stone portico with
Roman Doric columns in order; single, coupled, single. Plain stone
entablature with a triglyph frieze, C19. Door at left ground, wood
with 6 glass panels and a rectangular fanlight over. West front has
a mid Cl9 trellis with a flared roof the full width of the ground
floor. Interior: south-east room, late C18 marble fireplace-surround
with entablature and frieze-panel carved with an urn and ram's head.
The staircase~hall has a marble floor, is semi-circular at the south
end, and contains its original stair with wrought-iron balusters.
