Cottage formerly two cottages. Early C17 with C18 and C19 alterations and
additions, C20 renovation and additions. Timber-framed and roughcast, and
painted replacement brick with dentil brick cornice. Long straw thatched roof
half hipped to left hand. Red brick and gault brick end stacks and ridge
stack. One storey and attic, original three unit plan extended by one bay to
right hand. Two boarded doors with wrought iron strap hinges in segmental
brick arches, similar arches to three replacement casement windows; one small
ground floor window to left hand. Two eyebrow dormer windows. Interior:
stop-chamfered ceiling beams, open hearth modified by an entrance to inner
room.
