C18 or earlier cottage with C19 additions. Two unit plan with lobby entry. Timber
framing exposed. Thatched roof with ridge stack. One storey and attics. Two
dormers. Two casements on either side of doorway in modern, thatched porch. C19
brick wing to west. Slate roof. Two storeys. One horizontal sliding sash at
first floor. C19 stable range to north. Brick, pantiled. Interior. Long, straight
bracing to slender timber framing. Large inglenook with original timber framed
stack to one ground floor room. Later abutting fireplace with red brick stack.
C18 panelled doors and cupboards including one early Cl7 (reset) panel with guilloche
moulding, probably from a chest or fireplace overmantel.
