House and shop. Late C18. Limestone ashlar with stone slate roof. Two
storeys with attic, three bays. Storey band. At the right on the ground
floor is a C20 shop front which has two bowed windows with glazing bars
and a central doorway. At the left on the ground floor is a sashed window
with glazing bars and C20 louvred shutters. At the right on the first
floor is a similar window. The first floor windows in the first and
second bays are PVC double-glazed units installed in 1986 to replace sashes
with glazing bars. Two attic dormers. The doorway, to the right of the
left-hand window, has a stone doorcase with engaged Tuscan columns and an
open dentilled pediment. Above the 6-panelled door is a fanlight. Coped
gables with chimneys.
