Privy about 25 yards

Brelston Court

GV II

Privy. Probably mid-C18 with later alterations. Squared sandstone and brick
with sandstone dresesings and Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan aligned
north-west/south-east. One storey. North-west elevation has embattled parapet,
stone quoins to corners and to corners of advanced centre. Semi-circular headed
glazing bar sash with sandstone cills and imposts to each side of 3-centred
brick entrance arch, also with stone imposts. Moulded stone cornice. Attached
to left is lower sandstone building with similar cornice, said to be earlier
privy. North-west end has small outlet shute. Interior has two-seater earth
closet to north and waiting room to south.
