East Side

8/107 Reading Room

GV II

Attached Reading Room, dated 1879. Restored June 1977. Rubble
stone walls, with stone dressings. Slate roof with stone gable-
coping at right hand. Brick stack at right hand gable. One full
storey. 2 windows, tall and round-headed with glazing-bars and
Y-tracery tops. Moulded wooden frames. Dressed stone window heads
and stone cills. Front door at centre, plank, C20. Semicircular
fanlight over with glazing-bars.
