Public house and adjoining cottage, now amalgamated. Late C16, early C19,
with mid C19 rear wing. Ironstone and brick with limestone dressings
and Welsh slate roofs, Plinth, 4 brick gable stacks. 3 and 2 storeys, 4
bays, L-plan. Main south front has 2 tripartite C19 sashes and above,
two 6/6 sashes. Above again, two 3/6 sashes, all with flat arches.
Former cottage, to right, has a round headed doorway with rusticated
quoins and fanlight, flanked to left by a plain sash. Above, two 6/6
sashes. All the sashes have flat arches. 3-bay rear wing has a central
tripartite sash on each floor flanked by single C19 glazing bar sashes.
The building adjoining to the left has been demolished.
