House. Early Cl8, with later alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with rendered
front; hipped stone slate roof; brick ridge and end stacks. U-plan with rear
wings, 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Late C18 doorcase with bracketed
open pediment above 6-panelled door with decorative overlight. Late Cl9 square
bay window with 2-pane sashes and dentilled cornice to left; C20 French window
to right; on first floor are 6-pane sashes and central semi-circular-arched
sash, all in moulded stone architraves. Cyma-moulded cornice beneath parapet; 2
gabled roof dormers. Right side wall has late C18 sashes and earlier C18 sash
it thick glazing bars. C18 wings of similar materials to rear. Interior:
c.1750 panelled room to right.
