Malmsmead Bridge

Packhorse bridge. Probably C17-C18. Coursed rubblestone. Humped-back shape. Pair of round arches with rubble voussoirs, central triangular cutwaters with broach tops. Parapets with rubble copings and curved retaining walls to the abutments. The bridge carries the Brendon - Oare road over Badgworthy Water, which forms the county boundary at this point.

The asset was previously listed twice also at List entry 1173396.
