6/201 Vivian chest tomb about 15 metres
south of Church of St Uvelus

GV II

Chest tomb. Probably late C18. Brick chest with slate lid. The lid is rectangular
with rounded corners and groove around the top. The inscription is in upper and
lower case with serifs to the memory of Stephen Vivian who died in 1783 and his wife
Ann who died in 1784. Verse below in italics.
