C18. Former office to No 245 (Finthorpe). Coursed rubble. Pitched stone
slate roof. Coped gables on cut kneelers. 2 storeys. Garden front has staircase
window with glazing bars, and 2 mid C19 stone mullioned windows; otherwise
modern windows in original openings, or neo-Georgian bows. Finthorpe Cottage
has one C19 wooden oriel on each side, and on north side 2 ranges of early
C19 sashes with glazing bars.
