5/173 The Bull Inn

Inn. C18 with later alterations and additions. Coursed rubble, stone dressings,
pantiled roof with raised coped verges and kneelers, brick gable stacks, double
Roman tiled single storey wing to left. 2½ storeys and 3 windows, all casements
with ovolo mullions, hood moulds at ground floor and dripstone at first floor,
ground floor has 2-light casement, gabled porch with C20 door and two 3-light
casements both with stone panel below hood mould; first floor has two 2-light and
one 3-light casement, irregularly spaced, 2 hipped dormers, each with 2-light
casement; to left a single storey addition with C20 door and 2 windows. Left
return has small C20 attic casement, right return has all C20 windows, one at
ground floor, 2 at first and one similar attic window. Rear has wing with gable
end visible above C20 rear additions and C20 attic extension above gable; first
floor C20 window, C20 porch to left. Interior: not inspected.
