SP 63 SE TINGEWICK

5/125 Tingewick Mill
on River Ouse

II

C18, altered and repaired 1858. Mill with house in range to right.
Rubble stone with cambered brick arches to openings and some brick
restoration. Tiled roof is hipped to RH side and half-hipped to left.
House has 2 storeys; 2 bays with paired modern casements and glazed
door to left. Mill has 3 bays with wheel opening in LH bay; RH bay
has boarded door to ground floor, glazed double doors with balcony above,
and paired casement in dormer. Central bay has irregular casements.
Mill wheel and spindle in working order, most other machinery on site.
