Shop with flat over. C16 origins, but much altered. Timber-frame exists as fragments. C19 brick skin. West timber-framed wall collapsed 1988 and replaced with breeze blocks. Slate roof. 2 storeys and dormer attic C20 double shopfront with timber passage door to left. 2 late C19 sashes to first floor. Gabled roof with one gabled dormer. Single-storey wing to rear carrying a stack, gabled to main roof. INTERIOR. Main ground-floor front room with a mid C18 pine corner cupboard: round-arched and with dentil cornice. Rear room panelled. Staircase landing has balustrade of turned balusters and ovolo-moulded handrail. Enough of roof remains to show that it was of clasped purlin construction. Included for group value.
