39 and adjoining boundary wall

GV II

House. c1800, restored and internally remodelled 1989. Brick
with pantile roof. Stucco quoins, dentilled eaves, 2 gable
stacks. Windows are plain sashes. 2 storeys plus garrets; 3
window range, L-plan. Central blank flanked by single sashes.
Dummy central door with overlight, flanked by single sashes,
all with rubbed brick heads. Each gable has a small casement
to garret. Interior has dogleg stair with stick balusters and
moulded handrail. Single purlin roof. Outside, wrought iron
spearhead railing and gate on stone plinth. Brick side walls
with gabled wood coping.
