Ledgerstone. 1719. In memory of Thomas Martyn who died in 1719 and Joan his wife
who died in 1748. Large slate rectangular ledgerstone reset as headstone. Part of
the inscription is in a deeply engraved round topped panel with curved shoulders and
there is a central rectangular panel. Inscribed in upper and lower case lettering
with serifs and the memorial is decorated with leaf scroll friezes and angels heads
in relief at the corners. Broken in two parts.
