Mid/later C19. Classical. Stone corner building continuing lines of No 1, Princess Street with which it forms a group. Five storeys, two windows with rounded corner plus two windows to return. Shop to whole of ground storey. Pedimented windows above of three lights to corner and return. Main entablature below top storey crowned by four urns and panelled chimney-stack.

Nos 2 to 23 (even) form a group. Also No 2 forms a group with all the listed buildings in Crossley Street, No 2 Wade Street, No 12, Nos 18 to 22 (even) and Nos 17 to 33 (odd), Northgate, No 1 (with south extension of White Swan Hotel), White Swan Hotel and Princess Buildings, Princess Street.
