House. 1851-1855. By Charles Lynam. Stucco over brick with
concrete tiled roof. Italianate style. 2-storeyed, 3 unequal
bays, each with a gable to the main elevation, stepped in
plan. Doorway in narrow central bay, and sash windows in outer
gables, a tripartite window to ground floor of left-hand bay.
Tower to rear. Stack on right-hand gable. Overhanging eaves.
Built as part of a small development of middle-class housing,
originally forming an estate of 24 houses.
