4/97 Cottage, 60 metres south
of Chantry Farmhouse
- II

Cottage. Late C18 or C19. Rubble-stone walls. Thatch roof hipped at
right hand, with a caplide at rear. Brick stack at left-hand gable. 2
storeys. 2 windows, 1, 2- and 3-light metal casements in mainly original
openings. One 2-light wooden casement, upper right. Front door at right
hand, plank with a wooden frame. Thatch canopy over. Continuous thatch
outshut at rear, One storey, one bay extension at right hand, with a hipped
thatch roof over. One 2-light metal casement with a concrete lintel.
