ST 40 SW BROADWINDSOR HIGH STREET, EAST SIDE

4/44 Old School House

GV II

Detached House, former C of E Primary School. Early C19. Ashlar
stone walls. Slate roof with stone gable-coping. Brick stacks at
left and right hand gables. 1½ storeys at left hand. One storey
at right hand. 2 windows at left hand and 3 windows at right hand.
3-light stone mullions with separate labels over. Iron casements
with centre opening light. Half-dormers with 2-light windows,
pitched gables over with kneelers. Doorway at left end of right
hand range with 4-centred head, hollow-chamfered jambs, and a gable
over. Plank door with long strap-hinges.
