House. C17 extended and rewindowed early C19. Timber frame
weatherboarded on 1st floor with steep pitched roof now pantiled.
Ground floor walls replaced in brickwork rendered. 2 storeys and
attics, 3 windows. 3 unit baffle-entry house facing N. External
door to service end cut in C19 for use as dairy. Large axial
central chimney one third from lefthand (W) end, serving parlour
and hall. Deep C18 one and a half storeys rear lean-to kitchen
at SE with fireplace and formerly an oven. Winding stair next to
stack and straight servants' stair in lean-to to room over dairy.
3 window front asymmetrical. Flush boxed sashes, with moulded
architraves on 1st floor, and 10/10 panes each. Battened front
door with ogee tops to spaces. Flat hood on shaped brackets.
Half-glazed door to dairy.
