House attached at rear of No 20 facing courtyard. c1830. Coursed
rubble limestone, partially roughcast rendered; red brick; brick
chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey with return block over
passageway to No 24 Long Street. No 24 is not of special interest.
Front (facing courtyard): scattered fenestration. Two doorways
with 6-panel doors and 16-pane sash to ground floor; 2 upper floor
16-pane sashes, all with timber lintels. Oval-headed archway with
keystone and imposts in return block with 3 linked 12-pane sashes
over. South side (facing churchyard): partially roughcast
rendered. Mixed 4-window fenestration, mostly casements including
one with Gothick leading and one to upper floor in large segmental
arch; one upper floor C19 sash. Three gabled roof dormers and one
raking dormer to right. Interior not inspected. Forms part of
group of buildings around churchyard.
