Attached house. c1820. Black stucco with limestone dressings
and a slate mansard and flat roof. Double-depth plan. 3
storeys, attic and basement; 3-window range. A 2-window front
has pilaster strips to a moulded coping, with left-hand
section set back; left-hand doorway has fluted surround and
imposts, 3-panel overlight and 6-panel door with reeded lower
panels. Single ground-floor C20 French window, 2 first-floor
French windows, and C20 second-floor casements. Tented timber
first-floor balcony has pointed-arched railings with
quatrefoils and flat stanchions. Later attic mansard to the
rear and flat roof to the front. INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached wrought-iron basement area and
front garden railings, and limestone piers with round gableted
caps.
