Farmhouse and attached byre. Early C19, with later C19 and C20
alteration. House of coursed squared stone on brick plinth;
byre of coursed rubble stone. Pantile roofs, with brick end
stacks to house, and raised ridge tiles to byre. House is
central-entry plan, with continuous outshut. House front 2
storeys and attic; 3-windows: 1-storey byre to left, with no
openings. C20 half-glazed front door with overlight to house,
between tripartite sash windows with 4-pane centre sashes.
First-floor windows are 4-pane sashes, and attic openings are
blocked. All openings have flat arches of voussoirs, and all
existing windows have painted stone sills.
